Administrator Processing Data Admin post available at VKB Group

This position will be responsible for developing, documenting, and supporting standardized and/ or customized reports and administrative responsibilities. Taking full responsibility for the Operations Data/ Admin Office in the absence of the Operations Data Admin Manager.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 equivalent.
  • Certificate / Diploma in Office Administration will be advantageous.
  • 2 – 5 Years’ Admin/ data-capturing experience.

  • Some experience supervising a team.
  • Prior admin experience in an abattoir/ agricultural environment will be advantageous.
  • Good understanding of invoicing.
  • Knowledge of Avihance and NAV.
  • Demonstratable Computer literacy: Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • A willingness to work overtime, incl. on weekends when required.

Duties and Responsibilities

Administrative:

  • Prepare presentations, proposals, and analysis as assigned.
  • Document control: Compile, edit and review of SOPs and other documents.

  • Coordinate office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • General administration (including filing, answering telephones, sending, and receiving emails and preparing documents) where it is required.
  • Provide administrative support to Operations and Management Teams.

Orders:

  • Correspondence with suppliers and customers on CHEP related disputes.
  • Admin, ordering and inventory control of CHEP.
  • Utilize tools such as the CHEP Management System.

Planning:

  • Planning of daily production plans (Fresh & Frozen).
  • Correspondence with customers.
  • Correspondence with the Sales, Dispatch and Processing Teams.

Reporting:

  • Collect information/ data for reports.
  • Utilize available programs such as NAV, Avocet, M-Query etc. to provide operational/ technical reports.
  • Updating and capturing data for record purposes and reports.
  • Compile new Operational Data Reports as required by Operations Management.
  • Compile and analyze tables and graphs on available data.
