Responsible for total Quality assurance at the Production Site, which includes ensuring the effectiveness of Quality Control Management System and specifications which enables the production of high-quality products.

Location: Cape Town
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily quality control checks on incoming raw material, in- process product and / finished / packed product.
- Responsible for total Quality assurance at the Production site which includes ensuring the effectiveness of Quality Control Management System and specifications which enables the production of high- quality products.
- To timeously ensure that testing equipment are in good condition to ensure accuracy of results.
- To analyze and record the results to verify whether the products are within specification and inform line and or supervisor accordingly.
- To maintain general standard of housekeeping and safety to meet GLP standards.
- To ensure Food Safety (FSSC 22000) adherence.
- To ensure that the OHSAct is complied with.
- To ensure timeous and accurate results capturing onto LIMS
Qualification Requirements
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science
- Experience Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a laboratory environment will be an advantage – Computer literate (Microsoft Office package)
Other Requirements
- Pressurized factory environment, working with machinery in plant.
- Required to work on a rotational shift basis, Saturday, Sunday, Public Holidays, overtime when required as well as unusual working hours (after hours)
- Must be flexible and available to stand in on short notice
