As part of the social responsibility initiatives, the NNR provides opportunities to unemployed graduates to receive workplace skills and experience aimed at establishing a supply pipeline of critical skills and capacity development.

Requirements
- Grade 12
- Completed NQF level 8 or higher in Physical sciences or Nuclear Engineering or Mechanical engineering
- High level procedural programming language using C-family, BASIC, Pascal or Fortran required
- Simulation or modelling experience using thermohydraulic codes
- Not have participated previously in any formal employment or internship/learnership programme
- Be a South African citizen
- Must be unemployed graduate under the age of 35
