C3 EmpowerHer 2026: Supporting Women-Centered Climate Resilience Startups Across the MENA Region
As climate change continues to place increasing pressure on communities, economies, and ecosystems worldwide, innovative entrepreneurs are stepping forward with solutions designed to strengthen resilience and create sustainable futures. Recognizing the critical role women play in driving climate innovation, C3 – Companies Creating Change (C3) has launched applications for the C3 EmpowerHer 2026 Program, a six-month accelerator dedicated to supporting women-centered climate resilience enterprises across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
Funded by the Resilient Futures Fund (RFF), the programme aims to help early-stage startups refine their solutions, strengthen their business models, access funding opportunities, and increase their impact in addressing some of the region’s most urgent climate challenges.
Applications are open until 31 August 2026, offering climate-focused entrepreneurs a chance to join a high-impact accelerator that combines expert guidance, mentorship, strategic advisory support, and grant funding.
Addressing Climate Challenges Through Women-Centered Innovation
The MENA region faces a range of climate-related risks, including water scarcity, food insecurity, extreme heat, rising sea levels, flooding, and environmental degradation. These challenges disproportionately affect vulnerable communities, particularly women and girls.
C3 EmpowerHer was designed to help bridge this gap by supporting ventures that either:
- Are led by women founders, or
- Deliver solutions that primarily benefit women and girls
The programme recognizes that empowering women innovators is not only a matter of equity but also a powerful strategy for building stronger and more resilient societies.
By supporting climate resilience ventures, C3 aims to accelerate practical solutions that help communities adapt, recover, and thrive despite the impacts of climate change.
