Aviva is seeking an experienced sustainability and public policy professional to join its Group Public Affairs team as a Nature Policy Advocacy Lead in London.

About the Nature Policy Advocacy Lead Role
The Nature Policy Advocacy Lead will play an important role in developing Aviva’s approach to public policy and government engagement on sustainability.
Although the position is primarily focused on the UK, it also covers relevant international policy developments and global sustainability events. The successful candidate may therefore contribute to Aviva’s preparations for major international climate and sustainability summits.

Working Across Aviva

The Nature Policy Advocacy Lead will provide policy insights to investment, insurance and client-facing commercial teams, helping colleagues understand how changes in nature and climate adaptation policy could affect their work.
The role will also provide public policy and government affairs support to areas such as Group Sustainability.
Another responsibility will be supporting the Sustainability Advocacy Forum, a cross-business group that brings together colleagues from different functions with an interest in sustainability policy.

The successful candidate will receive a starting salary of approximately £70,000, depending on their experience, skills, qualifications and location.
