The internship is hosted under UNICEF’s Global Programme Division through the Bangkok Centre of Excellence and will run on a full-time remote basis for 26 weeks.

Who Can Apply?

UNICEF outlined several eligibility requirements for applicants.

Candidates must:

  • Be currently enrolled in or have graduated within the past two years from a relevant undergraduate, postgraduate, or PhD programme
  • Study fields such as education, climate change, environmental studies, sustainability, social sciences, public policy, or international development
  • Have some relevant experience through research projects, volunteering, student initiatives, internships, or coursework

Professional experience is considered an advantage but is not mandatory.

Applicants must also demonstrate fluency in written and spoken English.

Knowledge of additional UN languages such as Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish may provide an added advantage during the selection process.
