Role Overview
The Graduate Procurement Officer will support procurement activities across the entire project lifecycle, including development, bidding, project closing, construction, and operational phases. The position places a strong emphasis on procurement during bidding and closing stages, where accurate documentation and supplier coordination are critical.
Working closely with the Senior Procurement Lead and reporting functionally to the Lead Procurement Manager, the graduate will assist in preparing procurement packages, screening contractors, managing tender documentation, and supporting data management processes. The role offers exposure to real-world procurement challenges within large-scale renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement and Tender Support
The successful candidate will assist in developing procurement packages for Balance of Plant contractors, drafting Invitation to Tender letters, and compiling documentation for Requests for Proposals. The graduate will also support procurement processes across multiple project environments and assist with contract signature and administrative requirements.
Data and Documentation Management
The role includes maintaining organized procurement data filing systems and conducting compliance checks for contractors and suppliers. The Graduate Procurement Officer will ensure documentation accuracy and provide administrative support to the procurement team as required.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
The position involves close collaboration with project teams to ensure procurement deliverables are completed on time. The graduate will also communicate with external suppliers and contractors during tendering and screening processes, gaining valuable experience in stakeholder management.
Qualifications and Experience
The role is open to graduates holding a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following disciplines:
- Quantity Surveying
- Supply Chain Management
- Engineering
- Related fields
