- Nationality: Must be a South African citizen.
- Educational Qualification: Must have completed a National Diploma (NQF 6) in Civil Engineering or Building from a recognized South African Public Higher Education Institution (HEI).
- Employment History: Applicants must be unemployed and must not have previously participated in an internship or placement programme.
