In a strategic effort to strengthen institutional capacity while empowering young professionals, Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife has announced its 36-month Graduate Development Programme aimed at unemployed graduates residing in KwaZulu-Natal. The programme is designed to cultivate technical competence, professional discipline, and sector-specific expertise across multiple critical functions within the organization.
This structured development initiative offers fixed-term placements across diverse disciplines, providing graduates with meaningful workplace exposure within one of South Africaโs leading conservation authorities. Successful candidates will be appointed on a three-year contract and will receive a monthly stipend ranging between R5 500 and R7 000, depending on qualification level.
Programme Overview
The Graduate Development Programme spans 36 months and targets graduates who have completed at least a three-year formal qualification from a recognised Higher Education Institution. The initiative integrates practical work experience with institutional mentorship, enabling participants to translate academic knowledge into operational effectiveness.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for consideration, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be an unemployed graduate residing in the KwaZulu-Natal province.
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be under the age of 45 years.
- Have completed the relevant qualification specified for the position applied for.
- Possess at least two years of relevant experience.
- Be available for the full 36-month programme duration.
- Be in possession of a valid driverโs license and able to drive.
