Available Internship Tracks
Applicants may choose up to two positions of interest from the following tracks:
1. Communication Intern
Responsible for crafting compelling communication materials—graphics, videos, presentations, and social media content—to support UNDP’s talent development initiatives. Tasks also include website management, podcasts, and webinar delivery.
2. Career Development & Onboarding Intern
Focuses on supporting global onboarding processes, coordinating learning activities, assisting with enrolments, reporting, and enhancing career development tools.
3. Leadership Development Intern
Supports leadership training programmes, learning diagnostics, and content curation for UNDP’s current and future leaders.
4. Learning Technology Intern
Assists with monitoring and evaluation of learning interventions, Power BI dashboards, Power Automate workflows, and the maintenance of external learning platforms.
5. Learning Design Intern
Applies adult learning principles to develop interactive e-learning modules, multimedia content, simulations, and digital learning assets using tools such as Articulate 360 or Adobe Creative Suite.
Key Responsibilities Across All Roles
Regardless of the selected track, all interns may participate in:
- Programme management tasks such as enrolment tracking, data analysis, and reporting
- Content curation on platforms like Coursera and LinkedIn Learning
- Research on digital learning, AI tools, virtual/augmented reality applications
- Production of webinars and learning events
- Contribution to strategic learning and development initiatives

Competencies and Skills Required
Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
- Strong communication and organizational skills

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following academic conditions:
- Currently enrolled in a graduate programme
- Enrolled in the final year of a bachelor’s degree
- Recently graduated (within the past year)
Additional requirements include:
- Being available for full-time, in-person work in Copenhagen
- Receiving approval from their home institution
- Being adaptable, open-minded, and comfortable in multilingual environments
Stipend and Internship Conditions
UNDP offers a monthly stipend of approximately USD 1000 for interns in Copenhagen (to be confirmed upon recruitment). This stipend helps cover:
- Visa expenses
- Travel
- Accommodation
- Insurance
- Daily living costs
Interns are expected to cover pre-arrival expenses independently.
