Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, the intern will be immersed in a dynamic environment where creativity, organisation, and attention to detail are highly valued.
📣 Role Overview
The Marketing Intern will support a range of administrative, creative, and operational marketing functions. This includes assisting with social media management, campaign coordination, event support, sponsorship administration, and internal reporting.
The role is designed to provide meaningful professional growth and exposure to the marketing function within the gaming and entertainment sector.
📝 Key Responsibilities
Digital & Social Media Support
- Assist in optimising company pages across social platforms, including the Sun Slots App.
- Contribute to the implementation of social media strategies through research and competitor analysis.
Marketing Administration
- Support departmental purchasing, including stationery, promotional items, and operational stock.
- Help capture minutes during team meetings and maintain accurate written records.
- Assist with compiling and submitting weekly operational reports.
Event & Sponsorship Coordination
- Support the coordination and hosting of guests at off-site events.
- Assist with administration linked to sporting sponsorships and partner activities.
- Participate in the organisation of staff conferences and internal events.
Database & Travel Management
- Help maintain and update the company’s venue database.
- Provide administrative support to Area Managers, including travel arrangements and scheduling.
🎓 Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
Educational Requirements
- Grade 12 and currently studying toward, or having completed, a Marketing diploma/degree or related qualification.
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong administrative and report-writing ability.
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms in a corporate or brand-building context.
- Interest or some experience in event coordination.
- Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends.

- Must be a South African citizen.
- Must provide recently certified ID and qualifications.
- Must commit to a 12-month internship.
