The World Federation of Public Health Associations (WFPHA) has opened applications for an exciting remote internship designed for students interested in international health and development. About the Project: Global Public Health Week
Now recognized as a flagship initiative, Global Public Health Week convenes public health practitioners, universities, NGOs, and community organizations from around the world. The selected intern will play a pivotal role in supporting the event’s organization. Their work will directly contribute to the smooth coordination, communication, and documentation of worldwide activities—ensuring the week is impactful and far-reaching.
What the Internship Involves
The remote intern will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks that support the planning and execution of Global Public Health Week. Core responsibilities include:
- Collecting and tracking submitted events from global partners
- Communicating with event organizers to confirm details and provide support
- Maintaining accurate databases and tracking forms
- Supporting administrative tasks necessary for the coordination of GPHW
- Contributing to team discussions, problem-solving, and workflow planning
