Key Responsibilities

• Policy Research and Analysis: Conduct interdisciplinary research on just energy transitions, resilience economics, and climate adaptation policies, with a focus on social inclusion and economic diversification.
• Data and Economic Analysis: Analyze datasets related to energy access, socio-economic indicators, and climate finance, utilizing quantitative tools to visualize findings and support decision-making.
• UN System and Policy Support: Review UNDP Country Programme Documents, project evaluations, and best practices to inform policy development.
• Knowledge Sharing: Draft policy briefs, blogs, and reports that communicate key findings in an accessible manner, supporting knowledge exchange across UNDP regional and global teams.

• Expenses: The internship is unpaid; interns are responsible for their own internet, equipment, and workspace. A modest stipend may be provided to assist with internet or other remote work expenses.
