The Information Governance and Preservation Section (IGP) within ITD is responsible for maintaining the integrity, accessibility, and security of the IMF’s extensive archives and records. The Senior Archives/Records Officer will play a key role in this vital function, contributing to the overall health and reliability of the IMF’s historical data.
Responsibilities of the Senior Archives/Records Officer
The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide array of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Record Management: Implementing and maintaining comprehensive record management systems and procedures, ensuring adherence to IMF policies and international standards. This includes the creation, organization, and preservation of both physical and electronic records.
- Archival Processes: Overseeing the archival processes for incoming and outgoing documents, ensuring proper classification, indexing, and storage.

- Digital Preservation: Implementing strategies for the long-term preservation of digital records, including the migration of data to newer formats and technologies.

Qualifications and Skills
