What is the iLEAD Fellowship?
The iLEAD Fellowship is more than just a leadership course; it is an immersive experience grounded in values-based leadership. Organized by ELF-Africa, this initiative aims to empower young Africans by equipping them with essential life skills, civic consciousness, and practical work exposure. Through a comprehensive tri-dimensional approach comprising training, mentorship, and coaching, the program provides participants with the tools, platforms, and networks necessary to unlock their full potential, inspire societal change, and thrive both individually and collectively.
Why Apply?
Participants will benefit from a rigorous selection process that ensures only the most promising and committed candidates join. The program is designed to nurture leaders who are aligned with ELF-Africa’s vision of fostering profound social, economic, and political transformation across the continent.
Program Structure
The fellowship is a fully virtual leadership journey spanning from July to November 2025. It features interactive modules held every Wednesday evening from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm EAT. The sessions cover diverse topics vital for leadership growth and community impact. To participate fully, selected Fellows must have access to a device capable of logging into online sessions and a reliable internet connection.
Participants will also be assigned home tasks on various topics to deepen their understanding and practical application of leadership principles. This flexible, remote format ensures accessibility for young leaders across East Africa, allowing them to learn, grow, and connect from the comfort of their own environments.
How to Apply
The application process involves a three-step selection aimed at identifying motivated, innovative, and community-driven individuals. Interested candidates are encouraged to complete the application form before the deadline.
