Our Digital Transformation Journey
Digital technology is a pivotal driver of change in the 21st century. It offers unprecedented opportunities for development but also presents new challenges. Since launching its first Digital Strategy in 2019, UNDP has embarked on an ambitious transformation journey to leverage digital innovations for sustainable development. Currently, as part of the implementation of the UNDP Digital Strategy 2022-2025, our vision is to create a world where digital tools empower people and protect our planet.
The Chief Digital Office (CDO) leads this effort, focusing on integrating digital solutions into development projects, supporting governments to build inclusive digital ecosystems, and transforming UNDP internally through innovative practices and organizational change.
