Company: Plan International
About the Organisation
Plan International is a globally recognized independent development and humanitarian organization dedicated to advancing children’s rights and promoting gender equality for girls worldwide. With a steadfast belief in the potential of every child, the organization recognizes that many children’s development is hindered by poverty, violence, discrimination, and social exclusion. Girls are often disproportionately affected by these challenges, making gender equality a core focus of our work.
Since its founding over 85 years ago, Plan International has mobilized a global network of supporters, partners, and children to create a just world where every child’s rights are respected, protected, and fulfilled. Operating in more than 80 countries, the organization works to address the root causes of inequality, support children from birth through adolescence, and empower young people to become active agents of change. Our work spans advocacy, policy influence, and direct community-based programs, all aimed at transforming lives and fostering sustainable development.
We are committed to ongoing progress, believing that we will not stop until equality is achieved for all children, especially girls.
