Coordinating the rollout and ongoing support of IDEA in new and existing country offices, including field piloting and scale-up activities.
Traveling up to 50% of the time to assist country offices with need assessment, implementation, and operational support.
Ensuring alignment and synchronization of information management efforts across relevant FAO units, including MEAL and other teams.
Developing dashboards, data collection tools (such as Kobo Toolbox), and reporting mechanisms to enhance project monitoring and decision-making.
Drafting technical requirements and providing remote support for innovations and new tools.
Building capacity at the country level through operational support and training.
Maintaining and analyzing databases related to cash and voucher projects, ensuring data accuracy and usefulness.
Performing additional duties as required to support FAO’s emergency and resilience initiatives.

Candidate Profile

FAO is seeking candidates with a strong background in information systems management, preferably with experience in humanitarian contexts. The minimum requirements include:

A university degree in fields such as Political Science, Economics, Information Management, Statistics, or Computer Science.
At least 2 years (for Category C), 5 years (Category B), or 10 years (Category A) of relevant experience.
Working knowledge of English or French.
Proven skills in data analysis, report writing, and the use of data collection tools like Kobo Toolbox.
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills suited to a multi-cultural environment.
