  • Developing dashboards, data collection tools (such as Kobo Toolbox), and reporting mechanisms to enhance project monitoring and decision-making.
  • Drafting technical requirements and providing remote support for innovations and new tools.
  • Building capacity at the country level through operational support and training.
  • Maintaining and analyzing databases related to cash and voucher projects, ensuring data accuracy and usefulness.
  • Performing additional duties as required to support FAO’s emergency and resilience initiatives.

Candidate Profile

FAO is seeking candidates with a strong background in information systems management, preferably with experience in humanitarian contexts. The minimum requirements include:

  • A university degree in fields such as Political Science, Economics, Information Management, Statistics, or Computer Science.
  • At least 2 years (for Category C), 5 years (Category B), or 10 years (Category A) of relevant experience.
  • Working knowledge of English or French.
  • Proven skills in data analysis, report writing, and the use of data collection tools like Kobo Toolbox.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills suited to a multi-cultural environment.
