- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English. Fluency in additional IFAD official languages (such as French, Spanish, or Arabic) is considered an asset.
- Location and Distribution:
- For internships in IFAD’s headquarters in Rome, candidates may come from any location.
- For internships in IFAD country, multi-country, or regional offices, fluency in the main language of the respective country or region may be required.
- Other Requirements:
- Candidates must not have participated previously in IFAD’s internship program.
- The Enhanced Internship Programme (EIP) prioritizes geographic diversity and is open to qualified candidates who are not based in Rome.
