This three-year program is designed for ambitious individuals who want to become Chartered Accountants (CAs) and join the esteemed ranks of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA). About the Program:

Our CA Trainee Program is not your typical training program. We offer a unique and personalized experience that allows you to tailor your rotations to your unique career aspirations. You will work in various divisions within the bank, gain invaluable exposure to different areas of finance, and develop essential skills in accounting, management, and leadership.

Job Description:

Job Purpose:

To adhere to the SAICA Training Regulations for the duration of your articles with the Nedbank CA Training Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage deliverables within reasonable turnaround times aligned to the role specifications and rotation
  • Add value by seeking opportunities to improve business processes and systems
  • Proactively drive and manage your own Learning and Development in line with prescribed SAICA Technical and Professional Skill Requirements
  • Contribute to the Nedbank CA Training Program by actively participating in Program committees/structures (e.g. Marketing Committee, Recruitment Committee, and Social Committee)
  • Contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals by participating in Nedbank Culture building initiatives (e.g. staff surveys, etc.)

Essential Qualifications:

  • SAICA Accredited Accounting Undergraduate qualification (Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or equivalent)
  • Honours or Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting or equivalent program that allows access into SAICA’s Initial Test of Competence
