About the Role:
In this role, you’ll help design, develop, and maintain custom FileMaker solutions tailored to our company’s needs. You’ll be working closely with experienced developers and the FileMaker Department Head, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop Custom Solutions: Assist in designing and developing FileMaker solutions that support our internal operations.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with designers, developers, and stakeholders to understand project goals and ensure successful implementation.
- Support Development Efforts: Follow coding standards and assist in testing and debugging solutions to meet performance and functional requirements.
- Maintain Systems: Help maintain and support existing FileMaker applications, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
- Documentation: Contribute to technical documentation to support the solutions and aid in knowledge transfer to support staff.
About You:
- Educational Background: A diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is a plus but not required.
- Basic FileMaker Experience: Some experience with FileMaker or similar database platforms is desirable, along with an eagerness to learn.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or PHP is a plus. Willingness to learn and develop these skills is essential.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.
- Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
