Purpose of the job:
Stock controller, maintain warehouse. All pallets marked precisely in correct configurations. Ensure put away stock rotation and investigation on variances.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure correct receiving of stock and capturing on GP.
- Marking of pallets, configuration, qty and best before dates.
- Collaboration and communication with stock inventory clerk and value chain.
- Stock rotation, ensuring that near expiry dated stock is constantly communicated to Warehouse Manager.
- Daily communication on bad wrapping, collapsed boxes and inferior packaging material – portfolio of evidence to be created.
- Daily checks on Warehouse value chain
- Daily investigation on variances on the value chain including stock re-counts, checking correctness of transfer documentation and system transaction
- Handling of daily queries
- Assist with month-end stock counts
- Ensure all GRV’s correctly processed.
- Ensure weekly age analysis correctness
- Qualification Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
Experience Requirements
- 2 – 3 years’ general office administration experience
- 2 – 3 years’ data capturing experience
- Computer literacy (Excel; Word)
- Working on Great Plains
