Mission:
As an R&D Intern, you will have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to projects that impact the lives of millions of South Africans. This -month internship program will provide you with invaluable exposure to the research and development of mining equipment, mentorship from seasoned professionals, and the chance to develop your skills while working on critical projects.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with experienced R & D engineers and professionals on various projects within your assigned department.
- Assist in the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects.
- Perform research, data analysis, and technical evaluations to support project goals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of engineering solutions and innovations.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations.
- Participate in safety and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Actively engage in professional development opportunities and training programs.
Skills, Competences and Experience:
- Strong academic record
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

- Basic knowledge of engineering principles and concepts.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, B Tech in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical on Mechatronic)
