The Financial Accountant will be required to work alongside the Finance Manager and assist with managing finance functions and ensure all reporting requirements and any ad-hoc projects and reporting, which fall within the scope of the financial department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The role includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities
- Monthly VAT preparation and 1st review.
- Monthly CIT preparation and 1st review.
- General ledger account reconciliations (including sub-ledger).
- Preparation of management accounts.
- Assist with SAP testing scenarios, cost center set ups and statistical key allocations.
- Prepare monthly IC recharge and service fee schedules for approval and issue relevant invoices.
- Assist with annual statutory requirements (assist auditors and prepare draft financial statements).
- Assist with coordinating international for Moz entities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum B.Com in Financial Accountingย
- Membership to a professional accounting body is an advantage.
WORK EXPERIENCE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- More than 3 years relevant experience
- Experience with Sage 300, SAP Business One or SAP S/4HANA
- Possess excellent excel capabilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skillsย
- Ability to read and write Portuguese is an advantage.
- High level of attention detail, in a fast-moving environment.
- Take initiative in resolving issues in a structured methodical manner.
