Junior SOE Specialist wanted at Nedbank

To support business strategy by playing a role in supporting the Avo SEO team to assist in implementing Algorithm SEO processes . Understanding of SEO principles, emphasising client-centric approaches and active research and learning. Extracting insights and disseminating to various levels within the organisation.

Job Responsibilities

•Participate and support Avo SEO related activities initiatives for the achievement of key business strategies.
•Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance processes; systems and policies and support implementation of new processes; policies and systems.
•Engage in Keywork Research and Mapping and on page optimisation
•Work on Content strategy, mapping and reviews

•Conduct SEO audits, site speed audits, and technical SEO audits and make recommendations and review SEO deliverables – check for errors and work is of the required quality
•Ensure information is provided correctly to stakeholders by maintaining knowledge sharing knowledge with team.
Help set up Quality assurance frameworks and build monthly reporting and insights documents.
•Provide input on activities for relevant marketing reports by collecting information on status and results.
•Using your understanding of GMB, Maps and NAP provide insights and recommendations as well as track performance against the agreed bench marks

•Support the Marketing Plan including the Client Value Proposition (CVP) by aligning activities within the business.
•Identify and engage with all stakeholders to ensure implementation of activities.
•Build and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders to deliver on SEO objectives.

Essential Qualifications – NQF Level

Matric/ Grade 12 

Preferred Qualification

  • Bachelor of Commerce: Business Management, Bachelor of Commerce: Marketing

Minimum Experience Level

2 – 3 years in service management in a banking environment and/or market research

Technical / Professional Knowledge

•    GMB, MAPS and NAP
•    Google Analytics Knowledge( GAIQ Required)
•    Search Console Knowledge
•    Basic HTML knowledge
