Project Admin Intern x1 & Metallurgy Intern x1: HarbisonWalker International

The candidates will obtain experiential learning through a structured 12 month programme applicable to the field of Metallurgical Engineering and Project Management.

Location: 6 Kariba Street, Vereeniging , 1930, ZA

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that task related SOPs & checklists are adhered to at all times
• Ensure that proper documentation is used applicable to task at hand
• Assist line manager with major and minor projects to be detailed in objectives
• Compile weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as stipulated by line manager

• Ensure adherence to all company health & safety practices and procedures
• Metallurgical and/or refractory investigations  and interpretation of results
• Implementation of investigation recommendation

Requirements:

• Diploma in Metallurgical Engineering or Operations Management
• Requiring P1/P2 experience to obtain a qualification
• No previous internship experience

• Basic level competency in excel, word & powerpoint
• Strong verbal and written English communication
• A second language suitable to the location of the site is an advantage
