PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

The Beekman Group is recruiting and invites qualifying candidates to apply for the Call Centre Learnership Programme 2024.

Closing date: 24 January 2024

Location: Port Shepstone, KZN, ZA

At the Beekman Group, we find it important to create opportunities for our local community, to enhance personal and career development.

In so doing, we are offering a 2-week candidate development programme, commencing on 1 February 2024, which affords successful candidates the opportunity to learn about the processes, skills and requirements of call centre agents, in the context of the leisure and hospitality sector, and in particular at the Beekman Group, at no charge.

With more than 50 years’ industry experience, the active management of over 35 vacation resorts in 5 countries, the successful management of numerous owner and Member bases, as well as managing various commercial properties across 2 countries, the Beekman Group has the expertise and infrastructure to meet all expectations.

ABOUT THE CANDIDATE PROGRAMME

Delegates selected to attend this candidate programme can expect to acquire the following skills and knowledge:

  • A basic understanding of the Beekman Group product offering in the hospitality industry, specifically family holiday experiences.
  • Learning about selling and promoting holiday reservation services, and assisting or advising customers who may be choosing from a variety of holiday options.
  • Experiencing the use of property management software for purposes of reserving holiday accommodation for customers.
  • Learning about up-selling and cross-selling, where appropriate, by informing customers of additional or alternative services or special packages that may enhance their holiday experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifying Criteria:

  • Matric pass or tertiary enrolment; Hospitality and English studies in matric, or relevant hospitality experience
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Above average computer literacy
