Be a part of a multi-disciplinary team with a thorough understanding of financial reporting, technical accounting and auditing standards and the necessary business skills to provide value to our clients and other key stakeholders.

Job shadowing

As a Grade 11/12 learner, you may have questions about how what you are studying in Accounting becomes practical and relevant in the working world.

As a courtesy, KPMG offers Grade 11/12 learners the opportunity to come in for job shadowing, where they will be exposed to what the life of a Chartered Accountant is all about.

More than just balancing general ledgers and balancing current accounts, the job shadowee will have first-hand experience of working in a team of Chartered Accountants ranging from junior to senior staff.

Want to become a CA? Here’s what Audit is about

Every so often, businesses need reassurance about their performance and reliability. In this case, let’s just say that audit is like taking a car for a service. But at KPMG, we go way beyond the simple nuts and bolts of financial statements. We strive to get right to the heart of an organisation, getting to grips with the inner workings of the business so that we can spot any problems before they happen.

For you, the best part is that audit will grant you the opportunity to meet lots of interesting people and develop skills that are always in demand.

It’s hard work and certainly not for the faint-hearted. But while we expect a lot from you, you’ll gain plenty in return.

Path to becoming a successful CA. Click here.

I’m interested. How do I apply?

Step 1: You’ll start with an online application, where you are required to create an online profile and upload the following documents:

  • CV – to give us and overview of your academic background, experiences and interested.
  • Your latest school results
  • A certified copy of your ID

Step 2: If you successfully meet our academic requirements, we’ll invite you to attend an interview with one of our partners at the office you applied to. This will include an interview which is all about introducing yourself, telling us why you’re right for us, and finding out more about what we’ll do for your career.

KPMG wishes you all the best!
