ABOUT ENGAL THAMIZHA KURAL NPC
Engal Thamizha Kural NPC was started by volunteers from within the Tamil community who are resident within the Republic of South Africa.
As people of historical Tamil descent, heritage and ancestry, irrespective of home language spoken, religious affiliation, people from this grouping currently occupy a meaningful size group that exists within the broader South African Indian community.
The literal meaning of the name of the organisation, Engal Thamizha Kural, translates in Our Tamil Voice and articulates the intent, to provide a voice for rational-thinking people of historical South Indian descent, who identify with being part of the greater Tamil historical heritage.
The founders of Engal Thamizha Kural NPC have identified the need for supporting, the socio-economic prosperity of people of historical Tamil heritage and descent in South Africa.
