A vacancy for a Mechanical Engineer graduate is available at the KIC Manufacturing Plant based in Isithebe along the KZN North Coast for a contract period of 1 Year.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities of the role:
- The Engineer will shall work in multiple departments learning various key aspects of the business
for a period. These departments include:- Maintenance
- Product Development
- Industrial Engineering
- Quality Assurance
- Logistics
- Production
- Thereafter the Engineer will be assigned into specific roles within the organisation based on the
individual’s aptitude - Follow all safety protocols
- Perform improvement projects
- Day to day support of production KPIs
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualification and Requirements:
- BEng Tech Mechanical Engineering
- Strong academic record
- Design courses, PLC and Network knowledge will be an added advantage
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to work under minimum supervision
- Reside in surrounding areas or able to travel to Isithebe
