JOB OVERVIEW

North West Parks & Tourism Board is recruiting and invites applications for the 2024 Work Integrated Learning Programme.

Closing date: 17 November 2023

Stipend: Work Integrated Learning (WIL): R3,500.00 Duration:12 months

North West Parks & Tourism Board contributes towards the skills development and training by providing opportunities towards Work Integrated Learning (WIL) / practical experience as a prerequisite towards completion of Occupational Based qualification in the field of Conservation.

ABOUT NORTH WEST PARKS & TOURISM BOARD

The North West Parks and Tourism Board (NWP&TB) is established by the NWPTB Act 2 of 2022, and registered as a Section 3C state-owned entity reporting to the Department of Environment, Conservation and Tourism (DEDECT) in the North West Province.

The vision of the North West Parks and Tourism Board is to create a sustainable biodiversity and tourism economy that creates jobs and protects the environment.

Their mission is to uplift the lives of the people of the province through management of state-owned protected areas, for sustainability, and growth of an inclusive biodiversity and tourism economy.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO APPLY?

Applicants aged between 18 – 35 years are invited, those who require Work Integrated Learning (WIL) / practical experience to complete their qualification with recognized public tertiary Institutions for the following field of study:
