ABOUT EKURHULENI WEST TVET COLLEGE
Ekurhuleni West TVET College is situated in the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality in Gauteng Province in South Africa.
EWC operates within a broad band and diverse communities and comprises of the following six (6) campuses: Alberton, Boksburg, Germiston, Kathorus, (in Katlehong/ Vosloorus/ Thokoza), Kempton (in Kempton Park) and Tembisa.
“Ekurhuleni” – means place of peace in Xitsonga. “Ekurhuleni” was taken from the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality and “West” from the Western Belt within the Municipal area, where all the campuses are situated.

The following apprenticeship opportunities are available:
- Electrical Apprenticeship [x8 posts] – 36 months duration
- Welding Apprenticeship [x8 posts] – 36 months duration
- Mechanical Fitter Apprenticeship [x10 posts] – 36 months duration
- Automotive Motor Mechanic Apprenticeship [x11 posts] – 36 months duration
