Sasol invites young professional women to submit applications for the vacancy: Women in Accounting Graduate Programme 2024.

PURPOSE OF JOB
The programme aims to train young women coming straight out of university with the unique skills of Joint Venture Accounting (JVA) in the Oil and Gas industry by putting them through a two year programme exposing the candidates to various areas of Finance but specialising in JVA.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Ensure the integrity of the general accounts and the structure of the ledger, at the asset level as well as per Sasol share
- Good understanding of SAP FI and SAP JVA module to ensure alignment with management reporting objectives and requirements
- Preparation of financial information for Sasol reporting including but not only :
- Bi-annual Board meetings packs
- Internal Reporting Practice Committee papers
- Sasol Compliance meetings packs
- Sasol Annual budget and quarterly forecast information
- Annual Financial Statements as per IFRS
- Review general ledger reconciliations
- Management accounting
- Accounts receivables
- Fixed Asset Management
- Asset performance management reports
- Rolling Capital Plan
- Other adhoc tasks relating to Sasol Reporting • Preparation of financial information for the asset reporting including but not only :
- Finance Committee meetings packs
- Operating Committee meetings packs
- Management Committee meetings packs
- Monthly partner joint billing statements
- Monthly partner cash calls
- Monthly asset reporting
- Annual work programme and budget
- Quarterly forecast updates
- Capital reporting to the asset
- Other adhoc tasks relating to Asset Reporting
- Familiarize with internal SOX controls

FORMAL EDUCATION
- Post Graduate Honours Degree
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
- Experience: 0+ relevant years
