ABOUT STET
STET (Support Teacher Empowerment Trust) is an NGO that was found in 2017. Our mission is to empower black young South African women in and towards Basic Education sector.
We empower them through offering them teaching qualification bursaries, mentoring and support. We also offer Coding & Robotics , Mathematics , Information and Communication Technology training in both primary and secondary schools.
STET offers bursaries to black South African females, preferably youth, who would like to study towards teaching qualifications.
WHAT THE BURSARY COVERS

ELIGIBILITY/ SELECTION CRITERIA
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS BURSARY IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO:
- BLACK SOUTH AFRICAN WOMEN WHO ARE EITHER STUDYING TO BECOME TEACHERS;
- BLACK SOUTH AFRICAN WOMEN WHO HAVE TEACHING QUALIFICATIONS OR DIPLOMAS;
- UNEMPLOYED BLACK SOUTH AFRICAN WOMEN WHO WISH TO STUDY FOR A TEACHING QUALIFICATION;
- EMPLOYED TEACHERS AT EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT, PRIMARY OR HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL OR AT A TERTIARY INSTITUTION WHO WISH TO
FURTHER THEIR EDUCATION.
