Civils2000 invites bursary applications from students within the following fields of study: –
- BEng Civil Engineering
- BSc Civil Engineering
ABOUT CIVILS2000
Civils2000 leads the way in multi-disciplinary construction projects as a 9CE, 8GB and level 1 B-BBEE company.
We offer expertise in land development, road building, civil works, concrete structures and water projects. We also deliver commercial and residential buildings, coastal engineering construction, bridges, and civil engineering construction services to the sustainable energy sector.
Civils2000 was founded in 1992 and we use that experience to deliver quality construction work for a variety of customers, and to the highest standards of quality, safety, health and environmental protection.
We have a specialist road surfacing division, Roadsmart Asphalting, and a large plant fleet offering plant hire to the industry.
BURSARY REQUIREMENTS
- You must be a South African Citizen
- You must currently be in Matric OR have completed Matric (Grade 12)
- You must be studying or intend on studying towards an Undergraduate Qualification in one of the aforementioned fields (postgraduate qualifications are NOT funded)
- You must be studying or intend on studying at a recognised accredited tertiary University such as UCT or Stellenbosch University.
- Current Matric students: you must achieve a minimum C symbol or 60% for Mathematics and Physical Science on your Matric Certificate/September Exams
- Current tertiary students: you must have a good academic record AND have passed all previous subjects/modules .
ONLY CANDIDATES MEETING THE ABOVE CRITERIA WILL BE CONSIDERED FINAL SELECTIONS ARE MADE BY AN INTERNAL COMMITTEE.
