JOB PURPOSE

• Assist Delivery Driver with delivery of product to customers in accordance with Clover policy and procedures  
• Maintain stock integrity 
• Assist in Pre and Post trip inspection of vehicle 
• Assist Driver in vehicle maneuvering  

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver Stock  

• Maintain stock integrity 
• Deliver product according to invoice in accordance with customer specifications
• Deliver stock at prescribed temperature 
• Handle containers (pallets and crates) 
• Assist in collecting and securing cash 
• Adhere to stock recheck procedure when required 
• Comply and adhere to safety rules and regulations 

Assist with vehicle roadworthy checks  

• Assist in Pre and Post trip inspection of vehicle 
• Assist Driverin vehicle maneuvering  

Return Stock  

• Pick up authorized product 
• Maintain cold chain 
• Adhere to Principal return standards 
• Separate good from bad stock returns 

Perform administrative duties  

• Assist in verifying all invoices and uplifts prior to departure 
• Ensure return of all route documents (invoice, pallet slip, return authorization, customer claim) 
• Ensure full POD (signed and accepted) 
• Ensure document modification done where applicable 
• Ensure returns and hand in documents according to procedure   

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4
• Relevant experience in applying job related concepts, techniques and processes at the required level 
• Business English: Fluent
• Travel off-site/ overnight stay
• Work shifts/weekends/public holidays
