The Mpumalanga Department of Economic Development and Tourism invites suitably qualified applicants to submit applications for various new job vacancies.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND TOURISM
The Department of Economic Development and Tourism was formed after the split of the then Department of Finance and Economic Affairs in 2005.
We are the premier Department tasked with the responsibility to drive all economic development and planning initiatives in the province.
The Department provides oversight role on the work of three agencies which are: Mpumalanga Economic Growth Agency (MEGA), Mpumalanga Gambling Authority and Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency.
The Department of Economic Development and Tourism is mandated to steer provincial economic growth activities and ensure the preservation of the environment, in order to speed up economic growth and transform the economy to create decent work and sustainable livelihood for the people of Mpumalanga.

HOW TO APPLY

Applications quoting reference number must be addressed to the Head: Economic Development and Tourism, Private Bag X11215 Nelspruit 1200 Or Delivered to Nokuthula Simelane Building, N0 7 Government Boulevard Riverside Park Extension 02 Mbombela 1201
Application for District Offices should be addressed to District Directors and for Polokwane Welfare Complex should be addressed to the Head of Institution.
All applications must be submitted on a NEW Z83 form, which can be downloaded from the link at the bottom of this post or obtainable from any Public Service Department.
The application should be accompanied by a recent comprehensive CV only; contactable referees (telephone numbers and email addresses must be indicated). Only shortlisted candidates will be required to submit certified copies of qualifications and other related documents on or before the day of the interview following communication from Human Resources.
Each application form must be fully completed, duly signed and initialled by the applicant. The application must indicate the correct job title, the office where the position is advertised and the reference number as stated in the advert.
Failure by the applicant to fully complete, sign and initial the application form will lead to disqualification of the application during the selection process. Applications on the old Z83 will unfortunately not be considered.
Should you be in a possession of foreign qualification, it must be accompanied by an evaluation certificate from the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA).
