INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW

Robben Island Museum invites recent graduates to submit their applications for the 2023 Graduate Programme for various Intern positions.

Closing date: 20 September 2023

STIPEND: R5 000.00 PER MONTH

ABOUT THE GRADUATE PROGRAMME

The Graduates Programme is a one-year programme aimed towards attaining skills a. experience from the workplace.

The Robben Island Museum (RIM) Graduate programme is structured work-based internship development programme focused on taking graduates from various Universities and University of Technologies through a structured work plan in order to expand their work experience.

Successful candidates will enter into a one-year internship contract. The Graduates will enter into a contract with RIM and will be placed within the relevant departments within the museum for the duration of the internship.

This programme offers opportunities to graduates that have qualified in the following disciplines.

RIM does not guarantee post-internship employment to graduates that participate in the internship programme.

All participate need to have completed University or University of Technology diploma or degree.

Applicants must be unemployed graduates willing and available for 12 months post-graduation workplace experience at RIM.
