Ubombo Sugar Limited is part of the Illovo Sugar Africa Group, a leading producer of sugar and downstream products.
Situated in the south-east of Eswatini’s Lowveld, Ubombo Sugar is the oldest sugar mill in the country. Illovo has a 60% share in Ubombo Sugar Limited, with 40% of shares held by Tibiyo Taka Ngwane.
Ubombo Sugar comprises of one agricultural estate, factory, and refinery and specializes in milling and producing raw, refined, and specialty sugar products for retail consumption and industrial use.
Ubombo Sugar Limited is the oldest sugar mill in Swaziland, specializing in milling and producing sugar products.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for entry into our 3-year Trainee Programme in the following trades: Engineer-in-Training Agricultural Engineering.
JOB PURPOSE
This is a developmental position towards the full level of being eligible for appointment to a management position in the Company.
The candidate will embark on a formalised training Programme that will include off-site and on-the-job training. The candidate must further promote and adhere to Company policies, procedures and guidelines.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- BSc Agricultural Engineering
- Matured and willing to learn (not older than 35 years)
- LiSwati Citizen

- Must demonstrate people management / leadership skills.
- Assertive, proactive, and innovative.
- Pay attention to detail.
- Self driven.
- Planning and organizing skills.
