JOB PURPOSE
To ensure that customers are satisfied with the quality of product that we assemble.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Grade 12 or N3 • Must have dual trade test • Have driver’s Licence and be able to dnve competently.
SAP training or be prepared to go for the next available course. • Code of Practice 29 Certificate or be prepared to be trained in.
Pump refurbishing course will be an advantage • Truck Mounted Crane licence or be )repared to be trained in.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an applicable and relevant mechanical maintenance environment
Superior Knowledge of related small Plant Machinery, Tools and equipment. • Above average fault finding abilities
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Computer Literate • SAP_ PM will be an advantage • Knowledge of applicable tools and equipment.
Knowledge of advanced hydraulics • Leadership Skills • Communication Skills • Ability to work as a team member.
Problem Solving – root cause analysis • Interpersonal Skills. • Basic knowledge and application of OHS Act.
Develop SOPs for all maintenance tasks. • Vast knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment.
Knowledge of condition Monitonng, Hydraulic, Gearboxes, Pumps, bearing and pipeline repairs • Be able to maintain and service all relevant petrol and diesel Small Plant Machinery, equipment and tools.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Coil fitting, tapping, wiring and testing using merger and multimeter low ohm meter and gauges. • Cable fitting and drilling of the stator • Bearing assembly
Armature assembly • Electrical assembly • Mechanical assembly • Finishing • Pinion fit • Run out • Rotor drop • Testing using computerised test bench.
