The City of Ekurhuleni is hiring and invites applications for the vacancy: đź“ŚLibrary Supervisor/ Cyber Supervisor (Non-renewal 6-month contract).

Division: SRAC – Library and Information Services
Salary:Â R8 712 per month
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the PEP program
- Plan, Provide and project manage Community Skills Development Programs for / and in conjunction with Cadets
- Provide 4IR Support services
- Perform Library related auxiliary services
- Ensure work that is completed, adheres to policies and procedures
- Assist the communities with basic computer knowledge
- Managing and operating the livestream studio
- Required to work extended / flexi hours and on Saturdays
- Applicants are limited to apply for only one category. Applicants MUST NOT be active on the CoE HR System when programme commences
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent/ Post Matric Qualification
- 1-2 years supervisory experience
ICT knowledge and experience
- ICT qualifications (will be an advantage)
- Library experience / membership (will be an advantage)
- Resident of City of Ekurhuleni- proof of residence will be required.
- Demonstrable Knowledge of Library Services and Programmes
Communication skills
- Candidates will be expected to complete a practical test
- Project Management experience/ Administrative skills and experience
- Knowledge of Municipal services and environment
