The purpose of the Investigator role is to: Responsible for operation of effluent value chain.
Required outputs: Operational
- Physically monitor production processes
- The taking of samples on the plant
- Process safe making
- Conduct visual inspections on the process and equipment
- Identifying/solving problems
- Examine equipment and complete safety checklist
- Report process deviations to Artisan and Foreman
- Defect reporting
- Safety and housekeeping
- Cleaning of the plant
- Comply to all OSH ACT requirements
- Comply to Sasol safety rules and codes
- Communicate and assist team members in controlling the process
- Positive interacting with clients
- Liaison with plant personnel and other plants on site
- Support Sasol values and goals
- Adhere and manage own personal development (PDP)
Job Requirements:
- Grade 12 with Maths & Science
- 1 Year experience as General Worker
- Driver licence
- English Literate
Specific experience required
- Adhere to all safety regulations and work standards
- Practice good housekeeping
- Comply with all legal requirements
- Work independently
- Team player
