Rand Water is recruiting and invites South African unemployed youth to apply for the vacant posts of Artisan Assistant – Civil X 2.

• Location: Central Depot, Johannesburg South, Gauteng

Rand Water is looking for candidates who will be assisting the Carpenter with his or her  day to day activities on the depot and districts.

Primary duties

• Minor repairs
• General maintenance
• Cleaning of workshop

Minimum requirements

• Matric Grade 12 & Basic Carpentry
• 1-2 year working experience in a similar environment
• Knowledge in the carpentry field

• Ability to do minor carpentry jobs
• Cleaning of buildings, tools and workshop
• Carpentry certificate would serve as an advantage

• Knowledge of Safety & safe working procedures
• Drivers license would be an added advantage
• Preference will be given to applicants with disabilities
