The South African Navy (SA Navy) is recruiting for Divers and invites applications from both Matriculants and Graduates.
Dates: 29 and 30 May 2023
SA Navy is the naval warfare branch of the South African National Defence Force.
It was founded 101 years ago in 1922. Today the South African Navy is one of the most capable naval forces in the African region, operating a mixed force of sophisticated warships, submarines, patrol craft, and auxiliary vessels, with over 7,000 personnel; including a marine force.
The Navy is primarily engaged in maintaining a conventional military deterrent, participating in counter-piracy operations, fishery protection, search and rescue, and upholding maritime law enforcement for the benefit of South Africa and its international partners.
The South African Navy is embarking on a Divers Recruitment Drive for 2023.

Requirements
All candidates must have passed Pure Mathematics as a subject at Grade 12
Candidates must be aged 18 to 22 years for Matriculants and aged 18 to 26 years for Graduates.
Please bring the following:
- Copy of ID
- Copy of Matric certificate
- Short CV
- Copy of tertiary qualification if any
- Swimming costume
- Training clothes
