Roof Bolt Operator x 2 (Nkomati Anthracite, Mangweni Shaft, Mpumalanga)

Minimum Qualifications / Experience

• Grade 10
• Competent B Certificate
• License for operating a Roof Bolting Machine

• 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Must be able to read and write
• Knowledge of the Mine Health and safety act

• General knowledge of underground operations
• Medically Fit (determined by OMP

• Knowledge and experience in generators, cat compressors, Sandvik LHD, Wright, Toro, and Wagner
• Knowledge and experience of PDI and PDS systems
• Basic knowledge of welding and gas welding

• 3 years’ experience as an underground Diesel Mechanic Assistant in a coal mine

• Valid driver’s license
• Knowledge and experience in generators, cat compressors, Sandvik LHD, Wright, Toro, and Wagner

• Basic knowledge of welding and gas welding

Auto – Electrician (Jenkins Mine)

Minimum Qualifications / Experience

• School Grade: Matric / Technical Matric
• Qualifications: Red Seal qualified Artisan (Auto – Electrician)

• Driver’s License: Yes – Valid driver’s license
• Technical / Core Training: certified to work on air-conditioning units would be an advantage

• Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience working on TMM machines in an open cast mining environment. Must have experience in installing and maintaining safety systems (PDS’s) as well as performance managing systems

People Management Officer – Afrimat Concrete Products & Afrimat Aggregates

Minimum Experience & Key Competencies Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Behavioral Sciences or People & Culture Management.
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience as a Generalist in a mining/manufacturing people management environment.

• Specialist knowledge of SA labour legislation and Industrial Relations.
• Experience working with unions in a mining/manufacturing environment.

• Knowledge of IsiZulu would be advantageous.
• The ability to address employee relations professionally, consistently, fairly and with empathy.
• MS packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Sage 300.

• Code 8 Driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle/transport.
• Candidates must be medically fit to perform duties (Determined by Occupational Medical Practitioner).
• Ability to generate professional internal and external communication.

Geologist – Afrimat Iron Ore (Demaneng Mine)

Minimum Qualifications / Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within mine operations, experience in iron ore not negotiable.

• A proven track record in mining operations as well as exploration experience.
• A demonstrated ability to supervise drilling contractors and geological personnel.
• Modelling Software proficiency such as Surpac and Datamine essential.

• English language and technical reports skills essential.
• Demonstrates strong conceptual skills and be capable of developing lateral and practical solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Diesel Mechanic – Afrimat Concrete Products (Ladysmith)

Minimum Qualification / Experience:

• Grade 12 certificate (preferably Technical).
• Qualified Diesel Mechanic.
• 5 years of experience.

• Have a valid, unendorsed driver’s license code 14 to test equipment.
• Knowledge of tools and lubrication processes.
• Willing to travel for work purposes.
• Must be able to work independently and under pressure.

Mechanical Assistant x 2 – Cape Lime (Vredendal)

Minimum Qualification / Experience

• Minimum Std 10 or Grade 12 equivalent qualification.
• South African Citizen.
• Code B or higher driver’s license.

• Must be able to work well within a diverse team as well as under pressure.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Be able to speak Afrikaans and / or English.

• Must be medically fit to work on a Mine.
• Must be preferably between the ages of 18 and 27.

• Mechanical workshop experience with hand tools, power tools and welding will be an added advantage.
• N1/N2 would be an added advantage.

Diesel Mechanic – Afrimat Contracting International (Mbombela)

Minimum Qualification / Experience

• Grade 12 certificate (preferably Technical).
• Qualified Diesel Mechanic.
• 2 – 3 years of experience.

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Knowledge of tools and lubrication processes.
• Willing to travel for work purposes.

Mobile Crushing Division Manager – Afrimat Mining Services

Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Competencies

• A minimum of 10 years’ management experience in the Construction/Mining industry.
• Must be proficient in English and Afrikaans.

• Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams across different geographical areas. With the focus on operational efficiencies, profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Must be experienced in building relationship with internal and external stakeholder (e.g. clients, communities, DMRE, etc.).

• Experience in complying with all legal, health, statutory, safety, environmental and quality requirements across different operations.
• Must be proficient in office suite.

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be willing to travel nationally in line with operational and business requirements
