The University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) is hiring and invites applications for the vacant post of: LABORATORY TECHNICIAN.

The School wishes to appoint a motivated and an experienced Laboratory Technician to join the fast growing KwaZulu Natal Research Innovations and Sequencing Platform (KRISP).
In this position, an incumbent will play a key role in supporting the KRISP laboratory with conducting research and diagnostic tests to meet project deadlines and allocated turnaround times.
Minimum Requirements:
- B.Tech in microbiology / virology or equivalent tertiary qualification
- Two years of experience in molecular techniques
- Experience in extraction, PCR and sequencing
