Qualifications:
National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines;-
- Analytical Chemistry,
- Extractive Metallurgy,
- Chemical Engineering,
- Occupational Health & Safety,
- Mechanical Engineering,
- Instrumentation and Electrical Engineering.
Other Requirements:
- Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office Package
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Initiative and result orientated
- Medical fitness
Job Objectives:
In this role you will be responsible to the relevant Manager for the following;-
- Enter into a tripartite agreement between the student, host company and the MQA (Mining Qualification Authority) for the duration of the programme
- Undergo practical training and exposure at the premises of the employer
- Complete and submit quarterly progress reports as required
- Comply with Health and Safety requirements in the workplace
- Perform general administrative duties and/or any other duties as may be required
- Work rotational shifts when required
