The Performing Arts Centre of the Free State (PACOFS) is inviting applications for the Artistic Internship Programme 2023.
Suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply for the above-mentioned vacant internship programme.
Stipend: R7 500 (all-inclusive per month).
JOB SPECIFICATION:
Assist with implementing the creative decisions of the Artistic Manager and team. • Assist with identifying possible productions for the theatre and present proposals to the Artistic Manager and team.
Assist in producing and managing all productions in the venues.
Assist with overseeing the smooth running of rehearsals and to ensure that the needs and problem of directors and actors are dealt with and resolved.
Assist with coordinating all departments and stakeholders (technical, marketing and publicity) through the process of mounting a play and managing the process.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT
A 3 – year National Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in theatre or performing arts.
