Alstom South Africa is recruiting and invites recent South African graduates to apply for the Logistics Internship Programme 2023.

Gibela Transport Rail Consortium invites motivated, dynamic and recently qualified graduates to apply for a 12 months Graduate Programme. The successful candidate will be based in Springfield (KwaZulu- Natal).

We offer:

12-month Programme that will provide a unique opportunity to gain valuable skills in the world of transport rail manufacturing.

Training and development of technical and non-technical skills.

  • Managing Stores.
  • Operation line replenishment.

  • Inventory counting.
  • Receiving goods.
  • Shipment.

  • Analyzing logistics data involving inventory or warehousing.
  • Reviewing & updating warehouse processes, procedures and layouts.
  • Optimising warehousing space and activities.

  • Providing packaging solutions.
  • Initiating and leading continuous improvement projects.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Qualification in Supply Chain/ Logistics Management or relevant.
  • South African citizen between 18 and 35 years of age.

  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • MS Office literate.

Behavioral requirements include:

  • Demonstrate Honesty, Integrity, Teamwork and Respect.
  • Reliable, efficient, self-reliant and flexible.
  • Positive outlook driven and passionate.
