2023 Sound Technician Internship at Performing Arts Centre of the Free State (PACOFS)
The Performing Arts Centre of the Free State (PACOFS) is inviting applications for the Sound Technician Internship 2023.
Suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply for the above-mentioned vacant internship programme.
Stipend: R7 500 (all-inclusive per month).
JOB SPECIFICATION:
Attend production meetings and acquire the technical specifications for the productions. Assist to check whether the technical requirements requested by the production clients are carried our correctly.
Book equipment from stores as per technical requirements of the production client. • Safely rig sound equipment and do sound checks with artists.
Attend any technical changes done by the artists. • Determine and plan equipment needed to external events. • Liaising with internal and external clients.
Striking of stage equipment’s • Report broken or damaged technical equipment’s. • Programme sound according to the technical specification. • Housekeeping.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT
A 3 -year National Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Sound Production / Sound Engineering.
